Read this before you buy the locally made fabrics face mask

"I was in a bus where a passenger called a face mask seller. After asking for the price, he took one and tried it on. He immediately told the seller that he want to make another choice. He finally paid for one after putting on about 5 different types." This was a story narrated by a young man.
Not just the said passenger, many do this while buying our locally sewn fabric face masks not knowing that by so doing, in the course of trying to void themselves of the virus, they expose themselves to contracting it and as well, spread it if they are carriers of the virus.
I cannot at this moment, tell you not to buy the locally sewn fabric face masks as it proves to be the pocket friendly available option, however, here are things you can do to keep yourself protected:
DO NOT TRY IT OUT
While buying a locally sewn fabric, DO NOT try it out. This will help you stay safe as well as others.
THOROUGH WASHING
After buying your locally sewn fabric face masks, DO NOT go straight to putting it on. First of all, soak in 100 degrees hot water (boiled water). After which you wash off with a mild detergent and rinse in clean running water.
SUN DRY
After the rinsing, ensure you allow it dry in direct sunlight. You can also use hot pressing with iron on it or a hand dryer set to hot.
If these are properly done, you will keep yourself safe as well as other people.
Stay Safe!
