KNOW YOUR SKIN TYPE AND OIL SUITABLE FOR IT

coconut oil

Trying to get a perfect oil for different skin types these days is not easy at all, for this reason, I have taken my time to research and I’ve found an amazing and incredible natural base facial oils that are cheap and very comfortable to your skin
Many people confuse facial oils with moisturizers and this is a big No. Oils are far different from moisturizers.

The main purpose of oil is to penetrate the skin barrier so the ingredients can be as effective as possible, while a moisturizer is meant to create a barrier for the skin, locking in moisture and any products used before it.
Lets take a look at the various skin types and the right oils for them.

VERY DRY SKIN
Coconut oil

People with very dry skin can find solace in using coconut oil. Coconut oil has been used for centuries for both hair and skin care. Generation after generation has found rest in coconut oil. If you want your face to be looking all smooth and oily once again I will recommend coconut oil. Apply a little amount of coconut oil in the morning when you know you are going to be in the sun all day because too much of it in sunny weather can cause harm to your face due to the radiation from the sun. A lot more quantity can be applied when you are going to bed. Coconut oil is also good for persons with acne-prone skin, it contains fatty acid that makes the skin hydrated and smooth. Try this each and every day and you will thank me.

HARD SKIN

Shea Butter

Shea butter has been there since time memorial but we pay less attention to it. Shea butter has a lot of natural vitamins in it that causes your skin to rejuvenate and prevent it from wrinkles. Shea butter comes in diverse ways; it comes in refined forms and undefined forms. Some people get reactions like itching after using it. So I will recommend that before you apply Shea butter to your skin make sure your body isn’t very reactive. Others mix it with olive oil and it makes a perfect facial oil.

VERY DULL SKIN
Olive Oil

If you want an anti ageing skin or if you have very dull skin, then I will advise you to make olive oil your friend. Most of us use olive oil for spiritual purposes or let me say in Ghana we call it ‘anointing oil’. Olive oil is rich in Vitamin E and other essential vitamins that help your skin to breath and look young. People with hard skin type also use Olive oil regularly to make their skin soft. If you make this oil your friend you will look younger than your actual age and also shine in your natural complexion.

REGULAR SKIN
Sunflower Oil

Anybody with a normal skin type that’s a skin that’s devoid of any blemishes or black spots but still wants to look glowy and nice can use the sunflower oil since it’s less reactive and gentle on the skin
All the oils mentioned above are natural and may vary in terms of effectiveness so you must know your skin type, that’s if your skin is dry, normal, hard or dull and choose the one that will be very gentle and suitable for your skin.
